We couldn\u2019t find parking at the park, which ended up great, as Tree had a spot for us to serve in the Park, right there amongst the people and next to the stand.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/freefarmstand.org\" target=\"_blank\">Free Farm Stand<\/a> provides free local and organic produce, seedlings, farm advice, etc. to low income people and families. They set up every Sunday at Parque Ni\u00f1os Unidos (Treat Ave and 23rd St.) in the Mission District of San Francisco handing out food that is left over from farmers\u2019 markets, home gardens, and the community garden, which is located in the park.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_155\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/freeteaparty.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/P6280189.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-155\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-155 \" title=\"freefarmstand-1\" src=\"http:\/\/freeteaparty.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/P6280189-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-155\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tree in the community garden<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Our tea went real fast, especially because it was iced. I had to re-up by taking some local herbs that Tree gave us (chocolate mint, orange mint, lemon verbena) back to the bus to brew up.\u00a0 I added some local honey that Tree also gifted us, and the people loved it. We also sliced some of the bread that the stand was giving out to eat with Apricot Jam made with apricots from last week\u2019s stand.<\/p>\n<p>A good man, Tree is&#8230; and similar passions we share. Whereas it is tea for me, it is food for him.
